“Peek-a-Boo”

Description

I created an oil painting of my own copyrighted photograph of a great-spotted male woodpecker. I had great fun in the process of creating this masterpiece! October 13, 2023.

A painting features a great spotted woodpecker perched on a crooked brown branch. The bird displays a round body with brown, white, and red plumage, a long, sharp beak and two small eyes. The background consists of a blue sky adorned with white, yellow, and green brush marks. The contemporary artwork is a hand-embellished limited edition on a box canvas, measuring 60 x 50 cm. It is also noted that the painting is new and still within the original packaging. The painting re-energised in February 2024. It was rejuvenated in October 2024.
