Narcissistic Colors

“NARCISSISTIC COLORS” is one of my artworks representing the mental health issues of 2023. Rejuvenated in October 2024.

This abstract painting is a striking and thought-provoking piece. A vibrant, almost garish, palette dominates the canvas, with bold strokes of red, green, and yellow. The colours seem to swirl and dance, creating a sense of energy and chaos. A distorted, almost grotesque face emerges from the chaos, its features exaggerated and distorted. This central figure seems to be the focus of the painting, drawing the viewer’s attention with its intensity.

The overall impression is one of narcissism and self-absorption. The vibrant colours and distorted figures seem to demand attention, reflecting a self-centred and egotistical personality. The dark background further emphasizes the figure, making it stand out even more.
