Landscape Oil

Description

I created this abstract landscape painting in oil using different techniques and experimenting with innovative methods on October 13, 2023.

The image portrays a digital painting of a vibrant landscape dominated by a field of flowers, which features prominently at the bottom half of the canvas. The flowers are depicted in a multitude of colours including reds, pinks, purples, and yellows, some of which are illustrated as blooming while others appear as buds. This colourful floral expanse is met by a contrasting mountain range in the background, sketched with black outlines and white highlights, occupying the middle of the upper third of the canvas. Above the mountains, the sky is rendered in deep blues and adorned with clouds that are painted in shades of white, yellow, and orange, contributing to the scene’s dramatic effect. Central to this skyscape is a large, luminous yellow moon which casts a radiant glow across the entire tableau. The whole artwork is imbued with a mystical and abstract quality, presenting a surreal interaction between terrestrial beauty and celestial wonder.
