The Elemental

Description

The Elemental is my first-ever abstract art acrylic mixed painting, which I created with all my heart into it. Canvas 100 X 80 cm

The image is an abstract painting with a complex and vivid composition featuring a variety of elements. All elements depict healing and connection after trauma. At the centre of the artwork is a swirling formation which dominates the piece. Emerging from this swirling portal is a blue figure that can be interpreted as a human form. To the right of this figure, there is a written message stating “This is the last place you thought to find it,” surrounded by imagery that includes fire and smoke as well as more swirling lines that could be perceived as a storm. Visible above this dynamic scene are clouds that appear squiggly and white against the chaotic background. The picture also includes a striking image resembling a tower that seems to be either collapsing or erupting, with orange, yellow, and purple hues suggesting lava-like textures. On the bottom right, there is an intriguing formation that can be likened to a nest or a brain, with four bird-like shapes emerging from it.

Colors play a significant role in this painting, with the backdrop divided into three distinct horizontal sections, featuring tones of tan, blue, green, and red. Finally, on the lower corners of the image, the presence of a figure and a tree provides additional points of interest and adds to the overall sense of energy and movement within the painting.
