A Fantastic Experience in the Woods of Macclesfield, UK! July 12, 2023
An amazing experience at Marton Heath Trout Pools, Macclesfield on the 28th and 29th of January 2023. Enjoying the peace and tranquillity of the farm and people fishing in the pond. I was stunned to see a Great Spotted Wood Pecker for the first time in my life. I had seen the Woody Woodpecker Cartoon in my childhood but never knew what it looked like in real life. This gave me joyfulness and ecstasy to see a beautiful and colourful Male Great Spotted Woodpecker in the woods on a farm.
