Artist Statement & Biography

Artist Statement:

I paint colourful, expressive works inspired by imagination, dreams and the emotional landscapes of everyday life. My background in psychiatry has shaped the way I see the world and influences my approach to art. I believe creativity has the power to bring calm, reflection and joy to people’s lives.
When I paint, I work intuitively with colour, movement and layered brushstrokes, allowing each composition to evolve naturally on the canvas. My inspiration often comes from nature, vibrant surroundings and the beauty of colour itself.
Painting feels like a deeply instinctive process for me. I often feel guided by inspiration beyond conscious thought, allowing the work to unfold freely. Through my art, I aim to illuminate life with colour and create moments of emotional connection for the viewer.
